From the Mass Pike (I-90):

Take Exit 4 to I-91 North toward Holyoke.
Take Exit 19 Route 9/Russell Street. At end of ramp turn Right on to Route 9 East towards UMASS Amherst and follow for 6 miles.
At the Center of Amherst you will see a Town Green to your left and Amherst College to your right.
At this light turn left onto S. Pleasant Street and follow for 3/10 mile.
Turn right onto Kellogg Avenue. Panda East Entrance will be on your Right.

CONTINUOUS BLOOD GLUCOSE MONITOR (CBGM)

Is a combination monitor and insulin pump that contiually take blood sugar readings reporting back whether it is rising or falling. This tool prevents one from having to stick themsevesf many times a day to get a blood sugar reading, and will provide more accurate information to prevent serious low blood sugar. The pump works in tandem with the monitor substituting for the missing pancreas.

Unfortunately, Roman's health insurance will not yet cover CBGMs, and they run between $1,000 - $2000
Roman had the opportunity to be part of a small study using the CBGM and he was impressed with the significant increase in his ability to control his blood sugar levels.
